Yesterday I found one that had all sorts of extremely cool stuff. Too much to catalog.
I found an amusing Bloom County arc involving Stephen Hawking. A full set of lyrics to the Split Enz album True Colours. A short paper from a CS professor I knew at one time about multiple criteria least paths--How to find the cheapest way to get from point A to point B when there are several competing reasons to put a value on the direction you go -- Like driving to work trying to balance the amount of gas you'll use, the time it will take to get there, some way of measuring the scenic value of the road and the chance of having a wreck. I was looking for that info a few months ago and here it is right in front of me.
A concept of a digital erector set. A long documentation from the FTC about a lawsuit against "Nu-Day Enterprises" about misleading/illegal claims made in an infomercial. The cover letter said that the FTC sent that to me to give an example of the details of suing someone for fraudulent infomercials.
A letter signed by George Carlin, Jackie Gleason and Vincent Price from the Department of Parties at Princeton University. I should upload it.
I found an inventory of books and CDs that I had at one time--and no, I'm not obsessive/compulsive
A paper on "Symbolic Boolean Manipulation with Ordered Binary-Decision Diagrams." At the time a friend was doing research related to that and he recommended that paper as background context.
Probably the best was short short story about The Chesire Rattlesnake. That definitely is going up.
I had a great day today. My neice and nephew were celebrating their graduation from high school and college respectively. We had it at Mom & Dad's so that lots of relatives that live near Kendallville could come and celebrate along. I got to see a lot of people that I don't see too often. Lots of hugs and I love you's made it all the more worthwhile.

We are losing our view of the stars at night as big cities pollute the skies with their lights. Imagine what the sky would look like if all the lights in the world were turned off. Imagine how many stars could shine that would otherwise be blotted out by the haze created by city lights. This is a contest to raise awareness of this problem and help appreciate the beauty of the night sky. What do you think of when you imagine the perfect night sky?
